Deadline

Jenny Callagher - Managing Director

BSc, GradDipBus

Jenny has been with the Deadline since the first year of inception and worked in every role within the company. Jenny is passionate about the business and providing customers with the best service in the market. At Deadline Express our points of difference have always been our cutting edge technology and simply the best people and we intend to continue and extend our winning culture.

Brian Howe - General Manager

Brian joined Deadline in 2006 and with over 20 years industry experience there isn’t a better person to manage the day to day operations at Deadline Express. Brian’s ongoing goal is to ensure clients receive the highest level of service to ensure all employees and couriers have a sustainable position within a successful company, to provide security for themselves and their families. He is hands on with the customers, couriers and staff and available to help with your courier and freight needs when you need him.

David Willats - Operations Supervisor

David has over 15 years experience in both the courier and trucking industries. He is currently looking after our fleet and dispatch team and making sure that we fulfill our customer’s requirements.

Toni Chapman - Administration/Customer Services Manager

Toni has been with Deadline for 10 years, joining us upon her return from her OE. Toni has a knack for getting the job done even when to others it may seem impossible. Toni’s attention to detail is second to none and she always makes sure we keep our promises.

Sales

Christine - Accounts Receivable

Having been with our company for 7 years, Christine works part time in the Accounts team. She has a background in the banking industry and is able to help with all your account queries.

Karly - Sales coordinator

Karly, originally from England came to us three years ago and has spent her time at Deadline working in various areas of the business. She started in the Customer Service team and now she is our Sales Coordinator sorting out our sales team and dealing with a variety of queries. Karly has built up a wealth of knowledge and is available to help with all your courier, customer service or sales enquiries.

Gary Mailand - Key Account Manager

Gary has 20 years in the Courier industry and has been at Deadline Express for 10 years. He has always worked in the sales side and his skills in building long lasting relationships with his clients reflect this.

Daniel Massie - Sales Executive

Daniel has been with Deadline Express since 2007. Initially he was one of our bicycle couriers, moving into the office in 2008. Daniel is passionate about delivering great service to all his customers.

Customer Service

Tonita

Tonita joined Deadline straight from school 3 years ago. She is known for going the extra mile, and once personally accompanied a delivery of an expensive diamond ring to Sydney to a very relieved fiancé leaving a very happy client.

Jeanne

Jeanne has been working at Deadline for 5 years. She initially worked in our dispatch support team and 2 years ago moved into a specialised role of overseeing the nationwide and international freight. Jeanne also helps our customer service team so is often a first point of contact.

Diana

Diana is our longest serving senior customer services representative. She boasts an impressive 10 years of service with Deadline. She is also a mentor and trainer for new team members.

Vicki

Vicki came to Deadline with 2 years experience of being a courier. With a desire to work in the office environment she was welcomed into our customer services team a year and a half ago. Vicki has a thirst for knowledge and a continuing desire to learn the dispatch/support roles within Deadline.

Dispatch

Ari

Ari started in the customer service area in 2004 and now works in our Customer Service Support team. Ari’s problem solving skills mean she is perfect for the role and she thrives on sorting out challenging jobs for Deadline Express customers.

Mario

Mario has been with Deadline Express since 2003. He has a background in security and customer service and has been in his role in Customer Service Support role since 2007. Mario has proven extremely effective in building strong relationships with our customers and this is reflected in the positive feedback we receive on a regular basis.

Ella

Ella has been with Deadline since 2001. She started in our Customer Service area and at present is working in Customer Service Support and also dispatch’s both the inner city and outer city fleets when required. Ella is a great motivator for our couriers when traffic congestion and poor weather put pressure on our fleet.

Ben

Ben has been with Deadline for over 9 years. Originally from Indonesia, Ben was initially one of our inner city couriers. In 2007 he moved into the office to take up the role of inner city dispatcher, a role he has excelled in.

Janeen

Janeen spent years working in the industry as a courier before joining Deadline in 2007 to take on the role of outer city dispatcher. Janeen’s responsibilities have continued to increase and she is in charge of operations in the evening.

Chris

Chris has 12 years experience in the courier industry and joined Deadline Express in 2009. He is an integral part of our dispatch and Customer Service Support team.
